At Malliya, we believe that having beautiful things shouldn't be limited to clothes and homewares. But to the everyday items you use for your hair whether its professionally in salon or at home.

Malliya is on a mission to bridge the gap between the hair and fashion industry. Providing high quality, sustainable accessories for not only industry professionals but everyday women.

A message from the founder

As an international educator, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the world’s leading hair professionals over the past 18 years. While traveling, I noticed a gap, a lack of beautiful, high-quality accessories for our industry. Not just for salon use, but for clients to take home and love, too.

Although my roots are in the hair industry managing salons, working in sales, and leading education, I also spent years studying fashion design. This unique blend of experience has given me a deep understanding of the need for products that are not only functional and professional but also aesthetically beautiful and as sustainable as possible.

Malliya is more than a trusted brand. It’s a community. A culture. A movement.

Jennifer

It all started with a simple idea...

While Jennifer was traveling the world educating salons about premium hair extensions, she noticed something surprising.

Salons were doing everything right, stunning interiors, exceptional service, skilled teams, curated social media, investing in high-quality hair extensions, and capturing content.

But when it came time to show off the final look, perfectly styled extensions, stylists were often using the same old stained plastic combs. These unappealing tools were front and center in their social media posts, running through hair worth thousands.

So, Jen decided it was time for a change. She set out to source a comb that was not only functional and aesthetic but also more sustainable than standard plastic options.

That was the beginning of Malliya in 2022. Since then, the collection has grown, more colors, more styles, and new product ranges. Today, Malliya is loved by customers and stocked by salons in over 9 countries and growing.

The vision, however, remains the same: to create beautiful, high-quality, sustainable tools that elevate everyday hair rituals.
